Kokomo was recently chosen to host city the 2015 Indiana
Leadership Association (ILA) annual awards luncheon. At the event, a panel of many inspiring community and state leaders discussed the future of leadership in Indiana as well as how leadership programs can continue to remain effective and relevant to our ever-changing world.
It was an honor to participate as one of the panelists and contribute to the discussion of how we can make Hoosier leaders the best they can be. The ILA believes that community leaders have a responsibility to do all they can to improve their effectiveness and I was proud to echo those sentiments during the discussion.
As a state representative, it is essential to continually adapt and grow in order to serve House District 30 more effectively. Participating in ILA's panel taught me even more about leadership and allowed me to learn from the experiences of the other participants as well.
